Honey Bun Cake

Honey Bun Cake

The buttery sponge of this Honey Bun Cake is made perfectly from scratch, and ready for enjoyment morning, noon, or night.

Traditionally, coffee cake is any flavored cake relished with a cup of coffee. That's why the coffee cake is called such. This Honey Bun Cake consists of a sponge and an icing glazed on top, both requirements to define what a coffee cake is. This buttery cake, much like coffee cake, does not have to be limited to enjoyment only at breakfast time. Morning, noon, or night, this moist coffee cake is the bee's knees.

My Honey Bun Cake recipe is easy to make from scratch, fun, and rewarding. What more could you ask for in a coffee cake baked from scratch at home.
