In 2016, Vee the Baker began chronicling & sharing her love of food and adventures in her home kitchen. Growing up, memories were always centered around the goings-on in the kitchen, whether at home or with her grandparents. Her Mother and Grandmother shared many cooking tips and techniques that she always thought were general knowledge, but conversations with friends revealed everyone cooks differently. That's perfectly fine! But you know what? That didn't stop her friends from inquiring as to, "How did you do this?" or "What did you do to get that?" It was then Veronica knew she couldn't sit on these 'simple magic tricks.' We all love a good story. Veronica has plenty of 'em. So, she carved out a little space on the web to bring it all together—tips, good food, and great stories. After all, that's how moments are treasured.

During the week, she is usually short on time balancing her role as risk strategist at a fintech and solely operating Vee’s Bakeshoppe, and therefore, recipes lean toward minimal effort yet full of flavor. These recipes are perfect for busy professionals who want to cook once and eat twice.
